EXECUTIVE EDITOR

The person we are looking for will have: at least seven years of professional magazine experience in a variety of content areas; some custom publishing background; and the proven ability to:

  • Lead and contribute to multiple projects with overlapping deadlines
  • Manage staff and schedules for multiple titles and projects
  • Work directly with clients as a project leader
  • Ensure the development of engaging content that advances clients' positioning
  • Develop concepts and proposals for new print and online publications
  • Oversee one or more staff writers and editors as well as freelance writers
    and editors
  • Write features, department pieces, and blog posts
  • Copyedit and proofread with precision and clarity
  • Fact check with precision
